Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology (SET)

For students studying a Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma or Master of:

Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics (ABLE)

For students studying a:

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Master of Marketing, and Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, Master of Wine Business
  • Master of International Management
  • Master of Project Management
  • Master of Project Management (Complex Systems)
  • Master of Technology Innovation and Leadership

Please note, International Students will start their orientation at 8:30am, and domestic students will start their orientation at 10:30am.

8:30am - 8:55am International Student Welcome Station Kick off your day with a warm welcome! Pick up your wristband, grab a piece of fruit, and meet our orientation hosts who will guide you to your International Student Essentials session. A great chance to settle in and meet fellow students before things begin. Western Courtyard, Hub Central International Students
9:00am-11:00am

International Student Essentials Session

In this session you will learn about the essential information you need to be an international student and learn more about Aussie culture with our International Student Support team.

10:30am - 11:00am Domestic Student Welcome Station Kick off your day with a warm welcome! Pick up your wristband, grab a piece of fruit, and meet our orientation hosts who will guide you to the start of your campus tour. Western Courtyard, Hub Central Domestic Students
11:00am - 12:00pm Campus Tours Get to know your campus on a tour led by current students Various All students
12:00pm - 1:30pm Free Lunch and Expo Register to enjoy a free lunch, enjoy some music and walk through the Support Service Expo where you can engage with and learn about University Support Services Hub Central All students
1:30pm - 2:30pm SET Faculty Welcome
 Hear from your Student Success Teamand students in your faculty. Learn all the information you need about commencing your studies. Napier G03 Lecture Theatre All Sciences, Engineering & Technology students
1:30pm - 2:30pm ABLE Faculty Welcome Hear from your Student Success Team and students in your faculty. Learn all the information you need about commencing your studies. Lower Napier LG28 All Arts, Business, Law & Economics students
2:30pm-4:30pm Fantastic Race Complete challenges where you can explore the University campus and the City of ޲Ʊ, while learning tips to facilitate your transition to university and life in Australia! Barr Smith South 2032 International Students
4:30pm-6:00pm Student Association led Sports Event

Conclude your day by joining a Sports Event, led by Student Society "Enjoy friendlycompetition, prizes andactivities like soccer, cornhole, and sack races🎉🏆. At the end of the event, you canunwind with your new friends anda free pizza dinner.
