The ÑÇÖÞ²ÊÆ±¹ÙÍø Nursing School Alumni Network, in collaboration with JBI (Joanna Briggs Institute). The webinar will be facilitated by Dr Craig Lockwood (Deputy Director, JBI) and will include distinguished presenters and alumni:
• Emeritus Professor Alan Pearson AM, founding Professor of Nursing and Head of School in 1995. Professor Pearson established the Joanna Briggs Institute in 2006 and under his leadership, JBI has grown to be recognised as a world-leaders in evidence-based healthcare. In 2010 Alan was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for his distinguished career and service to society and to the University of ÑÇÖÞ²ÊÆ±¹ÙÍø.
• Dr Tamara Page, Dean and Head of ÑÇÖÞ²ÊÆ±¹ÙÍø Nursing School, having joined the ÑÇÖÞ²ÊÆ±¹ÙÍø Nursing School in 2012. With extensive experience with St Andrew’s Hospital, Tammy's leadership in safety and quality has been central in emphasising the significance of research and quality improvement in both clinical and academic domains through innovative practices and staff mentoring.
• Thomson Delloso, an Emergency Department RN currently undertaking a Graduate Certificate in Aeromedical Retrieval, recently completing a Master of Traumatology and receiving First Class Honours in Nursing (First-Class). Thomson has a strong interest in clinical education, critical care and trauma.
During the webinar, we will have the opportunity to gain knowledge about our careers in nursing and the opportunities to transition from clinical practice to research.
An opportunity to present your questions and participate in the live 15-minute Q&A will be available at the end of the webinar.
