ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø University Cricket Club: a historyÌýThe University of ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø Cricket Club (The Blacks) celebrated its centenary in 2008. The Club has played an enormous part in the sporting life of the University andÌý the social bonds of so many alumni. The Blacks is the only University team in the SACA Grade cricket competition - fielding teams for all four Grades and a team in the women’s competition. Several other teams play in the ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø Turf competition (ATCA).Ìý
This author event will be of interest to many alumni, to all past, present and future AUCC players and supporters,Ìýand to those interested in the history and development of cricket as part of the history of sport in the University and the State.
