MGRE 3312 - Extended Modern Greek Cultural Studies Part 2

Please note that Modern Greek is taught by Flinders University staff as part of an arrangement between the two Universities. Classes are held at the University of ÑÇÖÞ²ÊÆ±¹ÙÍø North Terrace Campus. In this course, students further explore themes relating to Greek or Cypriot culture and society as illustrated in a selection of authentic written, aural and/or visual texts. Students may be offered a choice of monographic studies relating to contemporary or earlier texts. Regular offerings include Asia Minor: from antiquity through to modern times, Cyprus: history and tradition, From the Point of View of Alexandria, Greek Mythology: Gods, Heroes and Mortals, Modern Greek literature, Greek Migration to Australia.
